Cultural Story: Jiufen Golden Mine Museum is Taiwan’s first gold mining museum dedicated to the history of Jiufen. Established in 1992 by Mr. Zeng Shuichi, who was driven by the desire to preserve cultural heritage, the museum showcases the most primitive and ancient gold mining techniques passed down through three generations of his mining family. Mr. Zeng began working in the mines at the age of fourteen and has over thirty years of mining experience.
